Building the physical prototype.
Moving away from screens to map the friction manually.
Fabrication
Wood and paint over pixels.
The goal is to physically set the chart. A screen updates dynamically. A piece of wood stays exactly where you put it.
The first prototype focuses on layers: a base, a rotating zodiac ring, and physical dividers for the 12 zones.
Assembly
The 8-slice wooden dividers create the boundaries. They have to interlock and rotate freely above the base plate.
Measure.
Cut.
Assemble.
Finishing
Hand-painted zodiac boundaries.
